We held our 2nd Annual Summer Kids Camp on June 27 & 28 at Ouabache Trails Park. Kids were able again this year to learn skills like Hands-only CPR, fire extinguisher use, bleeding control from Good Samaritan Hospitals Trauma Services,  and ATV safety from Indiana DNR. Kids were also able to perform some basic firefighter skills such as loading fire hose, and participated in a firefighter combat challenge. This year campers were again able to see and interact with St Vincent Statflight  Crew (formerly St Mary Lifeflight), Participate in locating a lost individual using VTFD Operation LifeSaver Program, and observe the departments newest drone program in use.
