VTFD was the first Fire Department in Knox County to launch Project Lifesaver in Knox County. Project Lifesaver is a program to help locate individuals that are prone to wandering.  VTFD is committed to “Bringing Loved ones Home” and will be recertifying all current members and training all new members.
